Chef Cody James believes in the immense potential of local wines to have their very own niche in the exclusive world of gourmet cooking. He knows that there is a whole dimension of unique flavors waiting to be discovered. And inspired and challenged by the wonderful creative possibilities that this offers, he has embarked on a mission to promote indigenous wines as special ingredients in fine food cookery.

"CATCH THE SPIRIT" is a television show about cooking with local wines, conceptualized, spearheaded and produced by Manhattan Catering LLC. The show centers on how Chef Cody infuses his culinary repertoire with the distinct essences of wines native to the state and are available only from the state's select roster of wine makers. To give the viewers more insight into the special qualities of the wines, a segment of each episode puts the wine makers in the spotlight so the company's distinguished representatives can tell the story behind their products' unique components and nuances.

Manhattan Catering LLC launches the project with the “CATCH THE SPIRIT: COOKING WITH CALIFORNIA WINES” series which features California wines made by reputable wineries across the state.
